ZEV’s mission is to simply drive more EV adoption around the globe by delivering vehicle products that transform EV range, charge times, personalization and affordability – this is EV 2.0. ZEV’s passion and commitment to EV customers centers around transforming battery management system technologies and drive trains to more sustainable and highly efficient ‘smart’ power management systems to meet vehicle range demands of today’s EV buyer. The EV culture is quickly transforming from legacy ICE vehicle platforms and infrastructure, where there is large dependency on energy density and charge cycle times. ZEV’s commitment to minimize parasitic loss through innovative power collection techniques will not only extend vehicle range at highway speeds but provide more predictive range accuracy to the driver using route information and driver behavior. ZEV is also using advanced thermoelectric methods to dynamically manage battery temperatures during fast charge cycles in both cold and hot climates. These combined technologies packaged with a contemporary vehicle design and personalized driver experience will quickly establish a new vehicle standard and deliver the promise of EV 2.0 to the auto industry around the globe. Renewable energy just went mobile, and it’s now available at ZEV – ZEV 2.0.
ZEV has a unique history, founded by a small but highly advanced technical team (consisting of military veterans) specializing in digital modeling, systems engineering, vehicle power management, AI and highly distributed software architectures. Our history is also one of high performance drag racing, where power management and vehicle drag precision gets you across the finish line first. The founding team has a long history, many members have been working together for over 30 years in space and ground system technologies, real-time data systems and distributed software architectures using six-sigma techniques. As the team came together, there was a common passion to move the standard from EV 1.0 to EV 2.0, focused on vehicle range, charge times, and lifecycle costs. ZEV started developing their IP back in 2017, working with Arizona State University, Purdue and other private enterprises to test model theory and build test units. These capabilities matured over the past several years into USPTO filings that will power ZEV's platform as the new standard of EV 2.0.
